Abstract

This study aims; 1). knowing whether or not there is a significant influence on the implementation of the method of discussion on the achievement of IPS students learning grade V SDN Pejagan 5, Bangkalan District, 2) To know whether there is a significant influence of the application of inquiry methods to the achievement of IPS students learning grade V SDN Pejagan 5, Bangkalan District, 3 ) To find out whether or not there is a significant influence of the application of inquiry method and the method of discussion on the learning achievement of social studies students of class V SDN Pejagan 5, Bangkalan District if applied together. In this study because the population is not too much ie the number of students of grade V SDN Pejagan 5 , Bangkalan Sub-district is only 25 students, then all students are sampled in the research. And in data collection, the author uses the test method. Conclusion gained after conducted research and data analysis hence: 1) There influence of applying of discussion method to student ips learning achievement of class V SDN Pejagan 5, Sub-district of Bangkalan, 2) There is influence of applying of inquiry method to student ips achievement of grade V SDN Pejagan 5, Sub-district of Bangkalan, 3) There is influence of applying method of discussion and method of inquiry toward student ips achievement of class V student of SDN Pejagan 5, Sub-district of Bangkalan if applied together
