This research about intensity of cooperation princip application in teaching-learning interaction of teacher and students aims to describe effectivity of communication. The aim of this research comprise of two things: (1) How is applicational intensity of quality maxims? (2) How is applicational intensity of quantity maxims in academic interaction in MTs. Saiful Ulum, Tanjung Bumi? This research used qualitative as the approach and observation as the method. The subjects is students and Indonesian teachers.
It is found that application intensity of quantity maxim function in conveying factual information. Application intensity of quality maxim function in conveying logical information.
