PELATIHAN PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA INTERAKTIF DALAM PEMBELAJARAN DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN SCREENCAST O-MATIC

Abstract

The quality of students is strongly supported by teacher competence in teaching both the understanding of teaching material, learning methods, the use of instructional media, and the application of science and technology in learning. The results of the situation analysis show that the teachers who teach at the Elementary School in Tanah Merah District in teaching have not used interactive learning media. In connection with this, the program aims to provide training to teaching teachers in Elementary Schools who are members of the Guslah KKG 5 Tanah Merah Subdistrict in Bangkalan District about the use and manufacture of instructional media using Screecast O-Matic software in learning activities. The achievement target of community service activities is in the form of (1) improving teacher skills in making instructional media using Screencast O-Matic Software (2) increasing teacher understanding in the use of instructional media using Screencast O-Matic Software.

The design of the PKM implementation is divided into stages of situation analysis and preliminary observation, training in learning media using Screecast O-Matic Software, mentoring and mentoring, determining achievement of activity indicators, and problems that arise. The results obtained from the community service activities were an increase in teacher competency in making interactive media using Screencast O-Matic software which was marked by the workshop participants' teachers who succeeded in creating learning media.
